Custom LMS That Saved LearnLoop €14K/Year in Platform Fees

An Amsterdam e-learning startup was paying 10% of every course sale to a third-party platform with no way to customise the learner experience. We built a fully branded LMS, saving €14K in year one and giving them complete control.

Overview

The challenge

LearnLoop had 12 professional development courses and was growing, but a 10% transaction fee was deeply cutting into margins. Equally frustrating was the inability to customise the learning experience, no branded certificates, no quiz logic, no learner progress tracking for B2B clients who needed reporting for their HR teams.

Our solution

We built a complete LMS with video course player, chapter-by-chapter progress tracking, quiz engine with pass/fail logic, auto-generated branded PDF certificates, and Stripe-powered payments. Instructors have a dashboard to manage content, view enrolment stats, and export completion reports. B2B clients get a separate portal to monitor their team's training progress for compliance and HR purposes.
